LST Heat Treating has been at its current location for more than 30 years. In 2006, the owners renamed the business LST Heat Treating after its founder, Lawrence “Scott” Touchstone. We provide services to companies like yours in the Northeast Texas area and reaching out to Southern Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. We currently operate ten furnaces and an Induction System. LST Heat Treating has the capability to process parts in a wide range of sizes and volume. We operate atmosphere controlled furnaces with generated endothermic gas and non-atmosphere open-flame furnaces. These furnaces include four temper furnaces, three atmosphere furnaces, one box furnace, one car-bottom furnace, and one nitride furnace. With these furnaces we are able to perform post weld heat treat (stress relief), quench and temper, carburize, nitride, carbon-nitride, anneal, age harden, and induction hardening. Our experience in heat treating allows us to process various metals including, but not limited to, alloy steels, carbon steels, stainless steels, and Finkle FX. Our services have been utilized in the agricultural, heavy equipment, machine tool, oil and gas, metalworking and automotive industries..
